Majken och Kajsa spanar

Vaccination for chickenpox

We managed to fill up even Monday, Kajsa and me. The morning was fine, we left Majken at kindergarden and then headed up towards Fridhemsplan to the best vaccination center, Vaccinationsgruppen. Super easy to make an appointment online, super friendly service and simply the best.

We had booked up Kajsa to be vaccinated against chickenpox. This nice disease that passes almost unnoticed. For those who have difficulty with irony then this is the disease from hell with way too long out of office time. Sure, it may in some cases be innocent, but with equal out of office for us parents. In many other countries it’s part of the state immunization program, but Sweden has a little bit left.

Easy and affordable to solve it yourself, however, but few even knows that it is possible. It was a coincidence that we found out about it when Majken was one.

Anyway. Kajsa was exemplary even when it comes to getting syringes with vaccine. Not a sound. She just looked up in with her big eyes of surprice on the doctor and smiled as only she can behind her pacifier. She probably just wanted to get down to the floor again and play with the red truck she found in a toy box in the waiting room.

Check on that! Next vaccination time is on Thursday when it is time for her annual vaccination in accordance with the national vaccination program. Keeping my fingers crossed that it goes as well.

The rest of the day disappeared like a flying carpet under your feet. Could, however, go to the store and buy the weekly menu ingredients and bumped into my sister at the supermarket with her newborn, Vincent.

No photos today. Gonna work on that!
